:bulletwhite: [1] Round
-> Víðarr sings a damaging song designed to be repeated in sections. It's more effective when others join in. (Sound Based; x2 Damage if an ally is also using this move)
:bulletblue: [2] Rain Dance
-> Though not quite as potent as his predecessor, Víðarr can still make it rain at will. It helps when you command legions whose strengths are in the wet. (Rain, 5 Time units)
:bulletwhite: [3] Sing
-> A soothing song that calms fiery hearts and may lull them to sleep. (Sleep, 55% chance; Sound Based)
:bulletwhite: [4] Helping Hand
-> By song or dance or mere words of encouragement, an ally's next attack deals an additional 1.5x damage. (Priority +5; Target Power 1.5x, 1 time unit)

Likes:
Hearing new stories and songs.
Telling stories and performing.
Sailing and exploration.
Teamwork.
Storms, or at least their sound.

Dislikes:
Large Egos.
Humidity, especially in hot weather.
Fighting avoidable fights.
Standing alone, even when it's the 'right' thing to do.
Complete Dishonesty: Embellish the truth if you must, but don't hide it!

Personality:
"As bittersweet as it is, War reminds us of how short our lives are. So why waste them with a frown?"

Naturally inclined towards the spotlight, Víðarr is well aware he cannot stand alone within it. Rarely the strongest person in the room, he draws his strength from his friends and allies; he's at his happiest when those about him are smiling, especially when he's the source of their lifted spirits. Though a natural entertainer, Vye is still an Umearian soldier at heart and his sense of duty to his people gives him at least one thing in common with his predecessor.

Background:
"Some may call me a 'War Hero'. Me, I am but an Umearian, forever in the service of my nation and her people."

Though born in the city of Fort Callem, Víðarr spent most of his childhood at sea on his father's merchant ship. Falsely equating physical strength with sailing ability and worth, he developed an obsession with getting stronger, ignoring how the different parts of the ship worked together. Beyond physical frailty, Vye also didn't seem to identify any of the 'superhuman' traits guardians were known to have; at the time passing off his interest (and skill) at sea-shanties as just that - interest.

Any plans to celebrate his 16th birthday were forgotten when the voyage that occurred on was filled with vicious, constant storms; including the lifelines catching fire and his father being washed overboard and into the jaws of a circling Sharpedo. So preoccupied with keeping the captainless ship afloat and finding shelter, it wasn't until they'd made port several days later anyone noticed the lump on Vye's forehead had revealed itself to be some sort of gem, voice had become far smoother, or that his once bright hair had turned black and green.

Frustrated with how normal he seemed compared to other guardians, not even knowing what he was supposed to be and blaming himself for being too weak to prevent his father's death, Vye left the ship to his cousin and sought greater strength by enlisting in the military. His hope was that it'd train him to overcome his weaknesses and maybe even leading him to finding out what was so special about himself. His latter aim was resolved within a day of enlisting; R&D quickly finding that his Pokemon half was one that was still debated as to if it even existed - the mythical Pokemon Meloetta.

With little information about it beyond its type and musical ability, Vye was assigned to a veteran Starmie guardian known as "Totodile". It was Totodile that mentored Vye in what it meant to be a guardian and first pointed out that true strength came from allies working together: "A captain without a crew could never haul a ship through a storm." Though he did come to understand it, Vye's initial reluctance to believe it and the subsequent ruckus that ensured lead Totodile to nickname him "Piplup."

Víðarr's squad would eventually fight in the 'Thirty Day War' which followed Callypso's coup. Towards the end of the campaign, his squad fell into an explosive ambush that resulted in Totodile sacrificing himself to save the rest of the team. Despite the overall victory, Víðarr was still shocked by the sudden death of his mentor. Promptly after the civil war concluded, the squad was disbanded and Vye took leave from the military.

During the in-between years, Víðarr wandered Umearia. Though happy for the new regime, it still took time for it's effects to be felt in the harder hit areas and it was to these places Vye was drawn, to try and lift the mood, if only through a smile, song, or an extra set of hands. As the nation began to thrive once more, Vye rejoined the military, fruitlessly seeking more answers about Meloetta. By the time war began anew, he was overseeing Umearia's border defences.

Weaponry:
:bulletblue: UGX-01
Víðarr's Guitar... and R&D's only foray into the musical instrument industry.
Sounds just as neat as any other well made Steel String acoustic, though less cumbersome and sturdy enough to survive in a combat scenario; it won't break if used to hypothetically bash someone's head either.
*Not actually intended as a weapon.

:bulletblue: Combat Axe
Shaft Length: 10in / 25.4cm
Weight: 46oz / 1.3kg
Other notes: Víðarr's name is on the shaft, but it's written in Futhark.
He -could- throw it, but then he has to retrieve it.
In Vye's experience, when it comes to chopping things like wood, rope or enemies that draw too close, axes are more reliable than blades.

:bulletblue: Smoke Grenades [Standard Issue]
Capacity: 5
Useful for when quick getaways are needed, cover from enemy detection, or any other scenario when a smokescreen is a good idea.
Unless these hit something when thrown, they don't deal damage.

Added information:
His Archetype is the Skarl, or Bard. Combat is more around supporting his allies and vexing his foes; he rarely if at all, fights alone.
Was surprised no one found where the smugglers stashed their rum cache on the island from Mission 2.
There were four other human members in Víðarr's old squad: "Squirtle", who succeeded Víðarr as the general in charge of the nation's defences against the Air Nation, "Mudkip", another general who now heads Fort Callem itself, "Oshawott", who retired after Callypso came to power (now owns a wharf in Melos) and "Froakie" who works as the head of the embassy on Elemental Island.
Something of a card shark. It might be Serene Grace, but he's a skilled Poker player.
Thanks to his travels, Vye is well versed in tales from around the known world and is somewhat proficient in ancient runes. (Futhark) His messages are usually encoded in it.
His gloves are identical to the standard issue ones given to NPC troops, except instead of being able to create electric shocks, the index fingers each have a small protrusion that functions as a guitar pick.
His speaking voice sounds like the 'MaleNordVoice' from Skyrim that is shared by so many NPCs.
