Alarmed by the cry the Torkoal has given out, you rush ahead in the direction of the sound, and almost suffer the same fate as the poor Torkoal, had it not been for a last second warning given by your partner mon. A skylight (a hole in the ceiling of a lava tube) lay before you, previously hidden by the dense wood and jungle-like overgrowth. Caught about halfway down in some vines, the Torkoal had not been injured, but was certainly in a state of panic (and rightfully so).

It's just as well the Moraines weren't here, since this search mission was now a rescue one.

I really wanted to panel this part too. Problem was each time I thought of a solution, the next day I'd realise a fatal flaw (Charade's lack of rope a common one, as was their isolation). Eventually I realised I was over-thinking it and decided to do a splash page instead. That's also why there's only one page this time.

Charade's a gym nut and Torkoal's less than 20kg heavier than her so I don't see this as being entirely unrealistic.
